First off, what exactly do I mean by "magic"? We're told it's the stuff in fairy tales and movies, but can it be something we actually experience?
When I talk about magic, I'm referring to what's better known as synchronicities. Some may call them "coincidences." I truly don't believe in coincidences, though. I interpret those wild parallels as happening for a reason. I don't believe they're random. I've had far too many of those experiences for me to believe it's all just random. I have a deep knowing that there's an energy of something beyond the physical realm that's helping to orchestrate everything happening in each of our lives.
I know this can be a tough subject for those of us that have had horrific things happen and I don't claim to have the answers for that, but what I will claim is this: synchronicities feel like magic and it's something we can learn how to create over and over in our lives. (I'll be sharing plenty of stories about specific synchronicities here in the near future so stick around for those if you're curious.)
So, here's the short answer to how we can make more magic happen in our lives: collect more art.
Long answer: Here’s how collecting art can impact you:
1. It can open your imagination & creativity. This may inspire new decisions, expanding possibilities for you, leading you to create a life that you love. (Cue the synchronicities.)
2. It can call you to your own creative practice, giving you a new avenue to experience more fun, fulfillment & intuitive connection. Intuition is where the magic lies.
3. It can spark conversation, questions, deeper connection and a sense of community among viewers.
Each of these points are ways we can tap into attracting synchronistic events (sorry I'm not going to explain in this post the quantum physics and universal laws behind how these circumstances are attracted to us).
I think the majority of us take art for granted and how it can profoundly impact our lives. When we collect/view art with intention & deep appreciation it truly can transform us, take us on journeys and help us see bigger possibilities for ourselves.
If you don’t believe life’s magic is possible for you, this is not the page for you. I’m not here to convince anyone of anything. I’m simply speaking what’s true of my own experiences. If my messages resonate with you, I’m grateful you’re here. If they don’t, leave what doesn’t work. It’s all love.
If you’re a new collector or interested in it, but intimidated to call yourself one, this post is about busting a few myths around collecting art, so you can be confident in your collection choices.
